Puri Jati is located in the small village of Seririt – approximately 45 minutes from pemuteran .<\/strong><\/p>\n You can expect water temperatures of 27-30\u00b0C. Visibility can reach 30m although lower is the norm due to waves and currents, the site is quite unprotected, but the water at Puri Jati is usually flat and calm.<\/strong><\/p>\n Puri Jati underwater Puri Jati is a wide, very gentle brown sand slope, about 50m from the beach until you reach 10m where it becomes steeper. The right side has a river which should be avoided if it\u2019s been raining.<\/strong><\/p>\n What will you see at Puri Jati\/Kalang Anyar? There is no coral here but, depending on the season (and fishermen), you will find sea grasses, sea pens, loads of tiny Mushroom corals, and algae-covered debris, all providing shelter for small, well-camouflaged critters.<\/strong><\/p>\n You can see seahorses, ghostpipefish, various octopus including Coconut, Blue-ring, Wonderpus and Mimic. Don’t miss the anglerfish, AKA, frogfish, including Painted frogfish, Pegasus seamoths, Ambon scorpionfish, lionfish, Stargazers, Cockatoo waspfish, Flying gurnard, small cuttlefish, minute juvenile filefish, commensal shrimps, and some very unusual nudis. You may also see turtles and barracuda.<\/strong><\/p>\n With such a large area, you would never, assuming good water conditions, leave PJ thinking \u201cI\u2019ve seen everything there is to see here\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n Kalang Anyar Kalang Anyar is similar to PJ: A gentle, dark sand slope with a variety of sea pens and sea grasses. Although here we also see creatures such as Painted frogfish, Mimic octopus and other sought-after Cephalopods, Pegasus seamoths, eels.<\/strong><\/p>\n There are noticeable differences in some of the species, quite often the nudis here are totally different from those seen on the same day at PJ.<\/strong><\/p>\n Footnote Unfortunately, although AMD-B built the dive facilities (toilets, changing rooms, shower, rinse tubs, sitting areas) here to try to aid the local community \u2013 and make it more pleasant and hygienic for divers \u2013 the fishermen continue to drag their nets over areas of Puri Jati.
